Synodontis Nigrita Gold

Also known as the Golden Synodontis, Gold Nigrita Catfish, Nigrita Synodontis, or the False Upside-Down Catfish, this rare golden morph of the West African Synodontis nigrita stands out with its shimmering golden body and active nature. Like other Synodontis, it is a hardy bottom-dweller that occasionally swims at angles or upside-down, a behavior that makes it especially entertaining to watch. Our stock is sold are often available in small or medium sized fish, allowing aquarists to raise them and enjoy their coloration deepen with age. Best kept in medium to large aquariums with equally robust tankmates.
