Bichir Senegal Albino

The Albino Senegal Bichir (Polypterus senegalus var.) is a captivating variety of the hardy and ancient Senegal Bichir, displaying a pale pinkish-white body with striking red eyes. Retaining the prehistoric charm of its wild counterpart, with elongated body, armored scales, and multiple dorsal finlets, the albino form adds a unique twist to aquariums. Peaceful but predatory, it is best housed with similarly sized tankmates in a large, well-covered aquarium.
