Peacock Snakehead

Young juvenile of the Peacock Snakehead (Channa pulchra), a medium-sized and beautifully patterned snakehead species from Myanmar, prized for its vibrant blue, orange, and green iridescence that intensifies with age.

Unlike many snakeheads, it stays relatively modest in size, making it more manageable in home aquariums. Territorial but less aggressive than larger snakehead species, it thrives in well-structured tanks with hiding spots, subdued lighting, and a secure lid (as snakeheads are excellent jumpers).
