Albino Hoplo Catfish

Also known as the Albino Hoplo, Albino Hoplosternum, or Albino Armored Catfish, this hardy bottom-dweller is a peaceful and active addition to community aquariums. The albino morph of the classic Hoplo Catfish is prized for its pale pinkish body, red eyes, and distinctive armored plates. Gentle in temperament, they sift through the substrate in search of food and help keep the tank clean. Our stock is sold as juveniles, giving aquarists the chance to raise them and enjoy their full adult size and character.

On rare occasions you may receive larger specimens when small fish are unavailable, however the smallest should be expected unless the size is noted as "Large" or "Adult".
