Wild X Gold Ram

We currently offer a limited number of exciting Wild X Gold Ram juveniles, this interesting variety is a cross between the wild Ramirezi and the German Gold Ram.

At first glance, they look similar to the classic German Blue Ram but with a higher degree of reflective blue scales and more golden base, however they must not be confused with the yellow colored "Golden Ram" and they also do not belong to the "German Blue Ram" line we offer. This line is an entirely different variant and we cannot guarantee their availability again in the future. 

Note: Pictures on this page show an example of the adult Ram. It must be expected that the juvenile Ram will not have their colors fully developed yet and genders of young fish are not possible to identify.

The ram cichlid is popular in the tropical freshwater community aquarium. While most cichlids are not well suited for a community tank, if a large group or a pair of this specific type are placed in a community tank, they generally will do well.

Discus.ae prefers younger stock for their better ability to adapt to new water parameters and higher tolerance against transport. On rare occasions you may receive larger specimens when small fish are unavailable, however the smallest should be expected unless the size is noted as "Large" or "Adult".
