Rosy Barb

This beautiful Rosy Barb, also known as Glass Rosy Barb and Neon Rosy Barb, is a colorful and shiny Barb fish that is highly active and makes a vibrant addition to any aquarium. Males show a more red tone to their reflective scales while females are more golden.

The Rosy Barb is hardy with great ability to accept colder temperatures up to 14°C and accepts all kinds of fish food, we recommend rich diets to bring out the attractive red coloration in adult males. Like most barbs, these active fish can be pushy for quiet and shy species, they are best kept with fish that are similar.
