Red Golden Ram

This selection of Red Golden Rams are unique for their ability to develop red/orange coloration on the head over time when fed with a rich diet and kept in a proper environment.

Unlike most Golden Rams sold commercially, our Rams are not hormone fed and has the ability to naturally fade (loses color) when under stress or added to an unsuitable condition, their colors naturally develop again as they adapt to their new home and diet. We highly recommend using our STENDKER GoodHeart Colour frozen food for professional-level growth and color development.

Note: Pictures on this page show an example of the adult Ram. It must be expected that the juvenile Ram will not have their colors fully developed yet and genders of young fish are not possible to identify.

The ram cichlid is popular in the tropical freshwater community aquarium. While most cichlids are not well suited for a community tank, if a large group or a pair of this specific type are placed in a community tank, they generally will do well.
