Pogostemon Erectus
Bunched plant held with small anchors or in coconut fibre pots.
Bunches are groups of young plants or stems brought together. They have a few or no roots. Roots are formed very soon after planting. Most are supplied in emersed form, old leaves may melt as new underwater growth appears.
Pogostemon erectus, also commonly known as Pogostemon stellatus ‘Erectus’, Erect Pogostemon, or Indian Pogostemon, is a striking freshwater aquarium stem plant with fine, needle-like bright green leaves forming dense, upright cones. Popular for aquascaping, it works best as a midground to background plant, adding strong vertical structure, texture, and contrast under good lighting and CO₂ supplementation.
Note: This plant is not produced at Tropica's nursery. It is not guaranteed to be free from pesticides and thus we recommend not to put them directly in tanks with sensitive shrimps or delicate fish. For precaution, keep these plants in tanks where water is changed twice a week for 2 weeks before keeping them with sensitive animals.
