Platinum Tiger Guppy
A mosaic-type guppy with fresh and exciting hints of yellow colouration, the Platinum Tiger Guppy has long been one of the most sought-after species for its unique characteristics. While not a picky eater, it will thrive and remain very colourful on a varied diet of meaty food that is supplemented with spirulina or other nutritious vegetable matter. High-quality and flake food, pellets and frozen or freeze-dried tubifex and bloodworms will all be readily accepted.
A hard water fish in nature and while it may manage in soft and/or acidic conditions, long-term maintenance should be provided for guppies in moderately hard or harder water. Unfussy, though a planted tank with floating vegetation is appreciated. Strong currents should be avoided.
