Peacock Goby

The Peacock Goby (Tateurndina ocellicauda), also known as the Peacock Gudgeon, is a small and brilliantly colored freshwater fish from Papua New Guinea. Its shimmering blue body, bright yellow-orange highlights, and tail fin with a distinctive “eye spot” give it the appearance of a peacock’s display. Peaceful and lively, it thrives in planted aquariums with plenty of hiding spots and adds vibrant color and activity to the mid-to-bottom levels of community tanks.
