Baby Red Cap Goldfish

Fancy goldfish, Oranda variety in Red Cap color variant, a cold water fish which has long been considered the most beloved and popular aquarium pet in the hobby. The Orandas are distinguished with the round head crown commonly known as a "wen", giving the fish a head shape compared to a lionhead.

The goldfish is a hardy fish when kept under appropriate conditions and can live a very long and happy life, they are prone to sores, swim bladder difficulties, and fungus if the water conditions or diet is not suitable. Handling & Safety Caution

Our goldfish stocks are acclimated to local tap water in the UAE which must be kept cool and dechlorinated before adding your fish. All original fancy goldfish are traditionally bred in outdoor ponds under open air, requiring a quarantine process to minimize pathogens which often naturally exist in their environments. Discus.ae treats all our goldfish live stocks with a mild anti-bacterial and deworming solution with daily water changes to maintain the best possible conditions.

You can safely mix all our goldfish together with no requirement to quarantine them separately, however we still recommend owners to quarantine your newly arrived goldfish before adding them with older live stocks which may have come from different sources to avoid health risks.
