Neoregelia ‘Picasso'
Young offset plant in a plastic pot, suitable for indoor pots, terrariums, vivariums, and paludariums.
Neoregelia ‘Picasso’ is a well-known Neoregelia hybrid valued for its highly decorative foliage patterning. Leaves are described as light green to yellow-green, marked with irregular red blotches that become more pronounced under bright, filtered light. As the plant matures, the rosette broadens and coloration becomes stronger, with increased contrast between the base color and pigments.

Natural Variation & Transport
Bromeliads naturally vary in color, pattern, and form. Color intensity depends on light, humidity, nutrition, and maturity. No two plants are identical, especially cultivated varieties. Minor cosmetic stress (leaf marks, color dulling, or slight deformation) may occur during transport and is normal.
General Bromeliad Care
Provide bright indirect light, warm temperatures, and good air circulation. Bromeliads can be grown mounted or potted in a well-draining medium. Keep the central cup of mature plants filled with clean water, flushing it periodically.
Color intensity depends on light strength and growing conditions; stronger light with modest feeding produces the best coloration. Bromeliads grow slowly and produce pups during their life cycle. Each rosette blooms once, then gradually declines while leaving offsets to continue growth. Suitable for terrariums, vivariums, and tropical plant displays.
Biosecurity & Animal Safety
Plants are disinfected and maintained in low-risk conditions and kept free from animals. However, all bromeliads were previously grown outdoors. For sensitive enclosures or animal habitats, we recommend additional sanitation before introduction.
