Medaka Platinum
Medaka Platinum White, commonly known as Japanese Rice Fish, are a hardy small fish that has the advantage of preferring colder temperatures without requiring a heater and has a great ability to adapt and thrive in planted aquariums, nano set ups, and mini ponds.
The Medaka can also accept a wide range of parameters and spends most of its time swimming at the midlevel and top-level of the aquarium, making our available Tropica floating plants an ideal choice to keep in their tanks.
This fish is also very peaceful and best not to be kept with larger fish that might chase or bully them. They are also a social species that does better in groups. They display their best colors when kept in cycled and mature planted aquariums.
Feeding our Medaka Rice Fish with a high quality dry food is recommended along with freshly hatched artemia to encourage better growth. We also recommend our frozen Stendker Tropical cubes which is a special formula containing a fresh mixture of Artemia, Daphnia, Cyclops, Crayfish, and vitamins that promote optimum results due to supplying the highest nutrition value.
