Long Finned Tetra

Also known as the Longfin Tetra or Longfin Characin, this elegant schooling fish is an uncommon species that is comparative to the Congo Tetra in size and behavior. It grows larger than most schooling fish and has golden eyes that reflect beautifully as it moves.

Its streamlined silver body, reflective sheen, and extended fins make it a graceful addition to aquariums, particularly when kept in groups where their natural schooling behavior can be appreciated.

Hardy and active, they are best suited to spacious aquariums with good swimming areas and peaceful community tankmates.
