A beautiful and active fish that is recommended for a planted aquarium and a more dimmed environment that isn't too bright which showcases their coloration best.
Males are more colorful but must be expected to arrive dim and colorless, they develop their best colors after adapting to their new environment with help of a good diet and optimum water conditions.
Due to its high activity level we do not recommend this fish as a Discus companion, its fast movement can spook your discus and stop them from eating during meals.
