Green Shrimp
The Green Neocaridina Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi var.) is a hardy freshwater dwarf shrimp, with color that varies from chartreuse to lime to dark green and sometimes with a back stripe on some! Selectively bred for its coloration that adds a vibrant touch to aquariums. Active and peaceful, it thrives in groups, grazing on biofilm and algae while helping to keep tanks clean. Easy to care for and well-suited to planted aquariums, it makes an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced shrimp keepers.
Note: This shrimp does not classify as Green Jade, which is an entirely different shade of green. These Green Shrimps are a lighter green type with some having more golden hue close to the Golden Back. Buyer must be completely aware of this important difference and must not confuse this variety with the Green Jade form.
