Gold Roseline Barb

The Gold Roseline Barb (Sahyadria denisonii var.), also known as the Golden Torpedo Barb or Gold Denisonii Shark, is a stunning aquarium fish selectively bred for its bright golden body accented by the trademark black lateral stripe and vivid red markings near the head. Active, schooling, and peaceful, it brings striking color and lively movement to larger community aquariums. Its elegance and constant activity make it a prized centerpiece for aquascapes and planted tanks.

This Gold variant may arrive with some variations or black markings and it is not uncommon for some to transform their coloration as they mature which cannot be predicted, as they can turn completely gold or may develop black stripes, this is simply accepted to be part of this color variety and it is not necessarily related to water or care conditions (examples shown in the images). 

The red stripe of the Gold Roseline Barb may appear faded after transportation however it gains the red color back once the fish is adapted to its environment which increases and becomes more striking if proper care and feeding is provided.
