Glow Barb (Green)

Glow fish, also commonly known as GloFish, are highly colorful GMO fish that exhibit fluorescent colors which glows under black light for a brilliant neon display! They are hardy and make a great choice to brighten up and add excitement to any aquarium.

Popular for their hardiness, barbs are an ideal fish for most community tanks. Although temperamental, they are best kept with other GloFish or larger fish.

Note: Glow fish must not be confused with other color-dyed or injected fish which are subjected to painful and cruel application methods. All Glow Fish pass their bright colors genetically without the use of artificial methods or any coloring procedures.

Discus.ae prefers younger stock for their better ability to adapt to new water parameters and higher tolerance against transport. On rare occasions you may receive larger specimens when small fish are unavailable, however the smallest should be expected unless the size is noted as "Large" or "Adult".
