Electric Blue Ram (Special)

A select strain of Electric Blue Ram which come from larger and more distinct line of this highly demanded color variant, this selection is not as common as the standard Electric Ramirezi and holds a higher intensity of color depth and tone without the use of hormones as usually found in commercial specimens.

Note: Pictures on this page show an example of the adult Ram. It must be expected that the juvenile Ram will not have their colors fully developed yet and genders of young fish are not possible to identify.

The ram cichlid is popular in the tropical freshwater community aquarium. While most cichlids are not well suited for a community tank, if a large group or a pair of this specific type are placed in a community tank, they generally will do well.

Discus.ae prefers younger stock for their better ability to adapt to new water parameters and higher tolerance against transport. On rare occasions you may receive larger specimens when small fish are unavailable, however the smallest should be expected unless the size is noted as "Large" or "Adult".
