Cryptocoryne Pink ‘Flamingo’

Bunched plants are young stems held with small anchors or coconut fibre. They may have few or no roots, which develop soon after planting. Most are supplied in emersed form, old leaves may melt as new underwater growth appears.

Cryptocoryne wendtii ‘Flamingo’, also known as Pink Panther, is a rare form known for its beautiful dusty pink coloration. This plant is olive green under lower light conditions but transforms into a unique shade of pink when provided an environment with higher light, CO2, and supplemented iron.

Like other Crypto plants, sudden changes to parameters or conditions can trigger it to melt its existing leaves but has the ability to grow back again if the roots are not disturbed.

Note: Bunches or bundled plants are not produced at Tropica's nursery. They are not guaranteed to be free from pesticides and thus we recommend not to put them directly in tanks with sensitive shrimps or delicate fish. For precaution, keep bundled plants in tanks where water is changed twice a week for 2 weeks before keeping them with sensitive animals.
