Bucephalandra sp. 'White'

Bunched plants are young stems held with small anchors or coconut fibre. They may have few or no roots, which develop soon after planting. Most are supplied in emersed form, old leaves may melt as new underwater growth appears.

Bucephalandra sp. ‘White’ is an extremely rare and refined cultivated form of Bucephalandra, valued for its pale green to silvery-white leaves that shimmer subtly under aquarium lighting. Developed for stability and compact growth, this potted variant establishes quickly and adapts well to submerged conditions. Its small, rounded, and slightly wavy leaves grow slowly, forming dense clusters when attached to rock or driftwood. Tolerant of a wide range of water parameters, it performs best under low to medium light with steady CO₂ levels. Elegant and understated, Bucephalandra sp. ‘White’ adds a gentle luminous contrast and texture to nano or mid-sized aquascapes.

Note: Bunches or bundled plants are not produced at Tropica's nursery. They are not guaranteed to be free from pesticides and thus we recommend not to put them directly in tanks with sensitive shrimps or delicate fish. For precaution, keep bundled plants in tanks where water is changed twice a week for 2 weeks before keeping them with sensitive animals.
