Bubble-Eye Calico

High quality Bubble-Eye goldfish. This variety has the signature bubbles under their eyes with a traditional slender body shape and no dorsal fin. Our Bubble-Eye goldfish have proportionate bubbles that enables our fish to swim with strength and balance. The specimens are sourced from our exclusive breeder and available for immediate delivery.

Note: Keeping a Bubble-Eye with other pushy or large fish is not recommended, they are best kept with gentle varieties such as Pearlscales, Butterflies, or Ranchus.. The soft fluid-filled sacs, known as bubbles, can get punctured if the fish is not handled safely or if sharp objects are kept in the aquarium. The burst bubble can regenerate itself under adequate conditions.

Fancy goldfish varieties are known for their peaceful and timid nature, with their rounder shapes and flowing fins which are available in different forms and colors. High quality diets are available in our collection, specially formulated for these beautiful fancy types. 

The goldfish is a hardy fish when kept under appropriate conditions and can live a very long and happy life, they are prone to sores, swim bladder difficulties, and fungus if the water conditions or diet is not suitable. Complete goldfish conditioners, treatments, and caring products are available with Discus.ae and it is recommended to always use dechlorination and goldfish minerals to reduce stress when introducing your fish to new tap water.

 

Handling & Safety Caution

Our goldfish stocks are acclimated to local tap water in the UAE which must be kept cool and dechlorinated before adding your fish. All original fancy goldfish are traditionally bred in outdoor ponds under open air, requiring a quarantine process to minimize pathogens which often naturally exist in their environments. Discus.ae treats all our goldfish live stocks with a mild anti-bacterial and deworming solution with daily water changes to maintain the best possible conditions.

You can safely mix all our goldfish together with no requirement to quarantine them separately, however we still recommend owners to quarantine your newly arrived goldfish before adding them with older live stocks which may have come from different sources to avoid health risks.
