Bolbitis heteroclita 'difformis'

Bolbitis heteroclita 'difformis', also known as Mini Bolbitis, a Terrarium / Paludarium potted plant, can be grown emerged or submerged by tying to wood or stones.

Bolbitis heteroclita 'difformis' is a slow growing green fern with beautiful detailed leaves which grow more compact and dense when provided with optimal conditions. The rhizomes can be attached to wood or stone surfaces.

Bunched plants are young stems held with small anchors or coconut fibre. They may have few or no roots, which develop soon after planting. Most are supplied in emersed form, old leaves may melt as new underwater growth appears.

Note: These plants are not produced at Tropica's nursery. They are not guaranteed to be free from pesticides and thus we recommend not to put them directly in tanks with sensitive shrimps or delicate fish. For precaution, keep bundled plants in tanks where water is changed twice a week for 2 weeks before keeping them with sensitive animals.
