Blueberry snails, also known as Blueberry Spotted Snails, are a newly discovered attractive variety of small 2 to 3 cm snails which have a variety of dark colored shells and orange spotted bodies.
Blueberry snails are good algae eaters and benefit from supplement diet that includes vegetables and other food. They need a spacious well oxygenated tank with plenty of algae and leftovers to eat. If put in a new tank with no algae present and not supplemented, it can starve.
