Blue Velvet Tiger Barb

The Blue Velvet Tiger Barb (Puntigrus tetrazona var.) is a selectively bred variety of the classic Tiger Barb, showcasing a deep blue to violet sheen over its body with faint dark stripes and contrasting red-tinged fins. Energetic and playful, it adds vibrant color and constant activity to aquariums. Best kept in groups, this hardy schooling fish is ideal for medium to large community tanks with similarly active tankmates.
