Bamboo Shrimp

The Bamboo Shrimp, also known as Flower Shrimp, a larger freshwater shrimp that makes a peaceful tank mate ideal for planted aquariums. Younger specimens can appear transparent and lighter in color while larger adults are darker with various shades of brown, it is also common for them to remain pale in color when introduced to new aquariums. 

The Bamboo Shrimp is a scavenger that searches for leftovers and organic matter to eat. It is recommended to supplement them with additional fish food to ensure the availability of sufficient diet for better health and growth.

The Bamboo Shrimp can safely live with other smaller shrimps such as Amano Shrimps, Ghost Shrimps, and other dwarf varieties as long as there is enough space and food.
